Board members must meet the required qualifications as set forth in the board's By-Laws and must pass a mandatory background check.

Patient Service Coordinator

Family Health Center

Clinical Integration Specialist

Wellness Center

 

The role of the Clinical Integration Specialist is to provide clinical expertise needed to improve colorectal cancer screenings among Native Americans in Northern Arizona by implementing culturally appropriate and evidence-based interventions with both patients and providers. Through this process, the clinical integration specialist will play a vital role in establishing Native Americans for Community Action (NACA) as regional coalition of stakeholders to reduce cancer disparities about Native Americans in our region.

Recreation Assistant

Main Offices

 

Responsible for assisting with planning, organizing and implementing program activities for grade school students in a recreational and educational nature that supports substance abuse prevention. Assists the various job activities, such as clerical and logistical task, to maintain and monitor the program.

Youth Development & Support Coordinator

Main Offices

 

The Youth Development and Support Coordinator is responsible for developing and implementing various youth leadership curriculums and engagement activities. This position is primarily responsible for developing and establishing a United National Indian Tribal Youth (UNITY) council. This position will assist with the development of a Native Youth Support Line (NYSL). This position will also be responsible for providing quality customer service and ensures a safe, fun and positive environment for youth, family and community.

Reach UR Life

Native Youth Support Line (NYSL) Call Center Operator

 

NACA's Reach UR Life program is seeking youth in Flagstaff between the ages of 18 and 25 for a volunteer role as a call center operator at their Native Youth Support Line (NYSL).  The NYSL is a "warmline" intended to provide peer to peer support for ages 10-26 with emotional or behavioral support.

 

This exciting opportunity will allow volunteers to help empower youth, expand professional development and fulfill community service or practicum hours.
