Youth,

and Community

The Circles of Care Project is aimed at working with the community to identify priority areas. These priority areas are identified through community input. These main areas are put into a system of care model, in other words a visual, along with a description of the plan of action. The model will identify areas of opportunity that will make a positive change in our community for our youth. The next phase is to disperse this information throughout the community. Lastly, the plan of action will be utilized for program sustainability in partnership with other agencies, organization and community members. All of this will help to improve the system of care for youth mental health.

Goals & Objectives

The Circles of Care will help Native American youth and families find & build emotional, mental, physical and spiritual balance through behavioral & culturally appropriate programming:

  • Connect Community Resources for Children and Family Services
  • Increasing Awareness & Education
  • Normalizing mental health
  • Culturally Appropriate Planning
  • Capture Community Voice
